WHO eLearning Caregiver Skills Training (CST) for Families of Children with Developmental Delays or Disabilities
Dear Colleagues,
I am excited to let you know that in the lead-up to World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April, we have released on the OpenWHO platform an online version of our training programme for caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities, including autism.
WHO eLearning Caregiver Skills Training (CST) for Families of Children with Developmental Delays or Disabilities is based on the WHO CST Programme, and is for caregivers for self-directed on-line learning.
The course is accessible here: https://openwho.org/courses/caregiver-skills-training
(and an OpenWHO account is necessary to access it).
The content is currently being translated in Chinese, Hindi, Portuguese, and Yoruba (Nigeria). More languages will be available as it gets widely used and translated.
The news about eCST release is available as WHO news page: https://www.who.int/news/item/31-03-2022-who-s-training-for-caregivers-of-children-with-autism-goes-online
The official launch event of both CST and eCST is planned for April 28th. More details will follow.
Warm Regards,
Chiara Servili on behalf of WHO CST Team
